I grew up in Borken, Germany, and discovered my passion for German Shepherds at the age of nine. Over the years, I’ve gained deep experience in training, titling, and showing these incredible dogs. I’ve worked with the German Military, training dogs for Personal Protection, Guard duty, bomb detection, and search and rescue. I earned my official certifications through one of the top schools in the world for K9 training in Koblenz, Germany. At Kempkes Executive K9, we specialize in training and offering Schutzhund titled personal protection dogs. Our German Shepherds are known for their health and quality, and we’re proud to be recognized as one of the top breeders in the USA. We travel internationally to show and compete, with many of our dogs earning top honors in Germany, Europe, Asia, and the United States.
One of the main training goals is to control aggression and build up your dog’s protective instincts. A trained dog will know when to stay calm and when to act. This gives you peace of mind, as you can trust your dog to behave properly in different situations. The controlled aggression assures the security of…
For personal safety, property protection, and peace of mind, few assets are as reliable as a well-trained protection dog. However, a protection dog is only as effective as the commands it understands and obeys. Unlike basic obedience training, protection dog training requires a highly specialized set of commands tailored to real-world threats, high-stress environments, and…
The male German Shepherd stands out for its strength, sharp characteristics, and work ethic. Max von Stephanitz bred GSDs in 1899 for high trainability and endurance. When breeders assign a name to a German Shepherd puppy, it involves more than choosing a name that only sounds nice. The name bound to tradition, rules, and a system that follows pedigree records and guarantees traceability. German Shepherds in different states are bred under specific organization standards; not all are bred the same way. Different organizations have their own breeding standards. When we talk about the great German GSD and the American one, both have different breeding standards. The American Kennel Club and Fédération Cynologique Internationale have their own guidelines. In…
The Czech German Shepherd comes from the working-line category, reproduced for constancy and better skills. They are bred for loyalty and strong abilities, unlike show-line German Shepherds, they focus on toughness, not appearance. These dogs handle tough roles like border security, military tasks, and protection. Czech GSDs are strong, smart, and built to work long…

Thinking about bringing a German Shepherd from Germany to the U.S.? Remember, the decision would not only involve picking the right dog, we would also go through the import rules, handle shipping logistics, and ensure all health checks are up to date. From August 2024, the CDC has set the law for imported dogs to…
