We were at our clients home in Las Vegas staging a break-in to test their German shepherd Basco. It was a very successful two days. The test provided useful information to the owners and to us as the trainers. We never really know for sure if a dog is going to protect unless he is tested. We do this with police K9s as well as our German shepherds that are trained to be Personal Protection dogs for private families. In this video clip, you see that he does not run away, he stays engaged and does not leave until his owners call him back to them. Needless to say we are very impressed with this first test. Basco living and loving life doing what he is Bred and Trained to do. This German Shepherd is trained to perfection by Michael Kempkes and the Kempkes ExecutiveK9 team.
