A finished protection dog represents three to four years of genetics, testing, and training. Our pricing reflects that depth: from $20,000 for a solid obedience trained family dog to $150,000 for a fully finished, elite personal protection trained German Shepherd.
Our Pricing Tiers
Most households land between $30,000 and $65,000.
All levels of our German Shepherds are family safe unless otherwise specified.
Individual dogs are priced on genetics, titles, temperament, and depth of training, never as a catalog number.
Deposits are non-refundable and are applied in full to your dog’s purchase price. In exceptional circumstances, a deposit may be transferred to another dog at our discretion.
Foundation
Imported, obedience-trained, and genetically tested
From $20,000
A strong foundation: obedience-trained, with a protective nature. The entry point for households that want verified bloodlines and professional training from the start.
Level 1 Protection
From $30,000
Solid obedience with foundational protection. A reliable presence and deterrent; not intended for advanced or high-pressure scenarios.
Level 2 Protection
From $40,000
Trained across multiple environments. Family-safe, composed with guests, and responsive under distraction.
Level 3 Protection
From $50,000
Three years of age and older. Advanced scenario work, nerve-tested, and proven under pressure. This is the dog most discerning clients select.
Elite / fully finished
Up to $150,000
Three to four years of age. Hundreds of hours with top decoys, repeated real-world scenario testing, and continuous evaluation of nerve strength and decision-making. Calm in the home. Decisive when it matters.
Why the Investment Is What It Is
Genetics that cannot be sourced casually. We import from German VA and world-championship bloodlines, the same lines that produce Europe’s top working dogs. Only a small percentage of puppies carry the nerve, courage, and stability that protection work requires. Hips, elbows, and genetics are verified before a dog enters training.
Training measured in years, not weeks. Michael has worked with working dogs since childhood. His focus is temperament, handling, and what makes a dog actually work, the side of the craft that turns exceptional breeding into a finished companion. Few trainers hold both the working title and the show title. He holds both.
Home-raised, never kennel-raised. Every dog lives in a home, not a run. That is what produces the emotional balance and off-switch a family dog requires. Mass production is efficient. It is not how these dogs are made.

The Honest Comparison
Industry-wide, fully trained adults typically range from $50,000 to $150,000; the most exclusive programs exceed $200,000. Our Level 3 dogs sit at the more accessible end of that range because we breed and train in-house rather than reselling finished dogs. The $150,000 elite dogs are those that have been pressure-tested for years and are ready for the most demanding environments.
A lower-priced dog is rarely a better value. It is usually a dog whose training ended early, whose genetics were never verified, or whose temperament was never proven under real pressure. The cost of that decision is not the difference in price. It is the moment the dog is needed, and is not ready.
Ongoing Ownership
Plan for approximately $5,000 to $10,000 per year: premium nutrition, veterinary care, and occasional refresher work. A well-bred, well-trained dog lasts twelve years or more. Across that lifespan, the daily cost of genuine security is measured and modest.
One Note Before You Proceed
The training on the dog is complete. The training on the handler is not. These dogs respond to consistent leadership: the same commands, the same routine, no conflicting signals from family members. Most clients underestimate this. We include handler training because it is the difference between a dog that works and a dog that merely performs.
